About Barr Cemetery Care
Growing up in a small rural community where relatives usually lived close by or in neighboring towns we always paid close attention to traditions, family or community. One important tradition was paying our respect to our departed family members by going to the cemeteries on those certain days and adorning them with flowers and plants. It was always a day that the whole family participated in and usually took most of the day. At the end of that day you had a good feeling that you had pay tribute to folks that you had never met. You were humble but somewhat proud of what the family did.
Today most folks are so busy or unable, healthwise, to get to the cemeteries to carry on those traditions. That is why we started this business, to help those that are unable or those that have moved out of the area.
We can help you carry out those family traditions... and much much more.
Our Staff
Our members are conscientious in their work at the cemeteries. We do most everything by hand and are respectful of where we are. No weed eaters or gasoline motors are on our equipment to mar the hallowed ground and its surroundings.
Our Coverage
We can work at all cemeteries in Westmoreland County (private ones with permission only). Because we work at a variety of locations we must follow all of the rules of that particular cemetery. Our pricing is based on the proximity of our location (Greensburg).
